thoughts..
this is gonna be a rare post wher i'll write some thoughts bout 1st week of the new sem.
1. marketing lecturer is v knowledgeable and engaging
he said "when you are pregnant in your mum's womb" hahah ok i admit i only realised it when the whole lt group started laughing.
partly cause i wasnt paying attention for tt moment haha.
2. public speaking tutorial (new) classmates are pretty cool.
3. thank God i got public sp as cds.
haha its a non-studying subj (i think)
4. 3hr breaks are a total killer.
seriously. i think 2h would be perfect to stay in school and 4h would be gd to go home.
but 3 HOURs. in the middle of the 2. its too long (& boring) to stay in sch & too short to go hm (lots of time wasted).
in conclusion i think 3h breaks are bad and unproductive.
5. Dick is v effective n effecient with his 3hr break.
haha. today, he went hm and could
complete his tutorials & even play ps2. or at least he
claimed so. ;)
indeed i have lots to learn from him. considering tt i live nearer to school (by a meagre 500m or 1 bus stop) hahaha
6. going for business stats lect is like going for a pinic.
the lecturer gave chocs to those who participated and the entire lecture group is noisy.
7. business stats is like accounting (
unconfirmed).
lecturer said its either you know and score high marks or dunno anything.
the scary thing is she said statistics is NEEDED if we were to choose the finance & marketing sectors.
my plan is to opt for Dip in Business followed by majoring in
HR management &
Finance & Investment clusters.
legend has it that Jabez Tan n. s. aspires to open his own company called
"
CLOWN'S FINANCIAL AND INVESTMENT SERVICES"
and their motto would be
"We'd make a joke of your investments!"hahaha. oh well gotta practise my statistics so tt i can be part of the adventure.
