happy new year.

before i set off for the anual countdown party in church,

let me wish one and all a happy new year 08!

blast from the past:

31 DEC 2004 (Smash '04)
My first and most memorable countdown.

Change is always contstant.

Back to the sec 2/3 days. decent hair cuts. decently dressed.

looking at some of us now, in polys/jcs. the trend kicked in:

skinny/tapered jeans. hair covering our ears for some. fringe brushed over our eyes. cutting 'bangs' for some. tinted hair of all sorts of unatural colour. unkempt hair.

sometimes i just wish we could go back to the old simple days (where some of us, including me, had nicer haircuts and a better fashion sense, really)

but on a brighter note I truly thank GOD how we've matured, realigned our priorities, made wiser decisions, grow in faith, bonded closer,

having many new members joining us, had more fun and so much more to give thanks for.

and we have 31 Dec 2005

theme was mismatched. as you could see, completely mis matched =)

and there 31 Dec 2006.

privileged to be part of the adhoc organising committee, The Dream Team

tata off to smash 07 !

White Christmas.

had an extremely fulfilling christmas weekend starting from friday to today.

wrapping presents alone thru the night.. emo sia. writing cards at ah pek house thru the night.
biking to R's place. christmas drama. board games. playing pool. swimming. playing LAN.
dinner, drinks and tai-tee at Ben house. mini christmas dinner @ seoul garden (great company but bad food.). FIG cluster outing.

Now i know why ppl start their christmas presents preparation 2 weeks in advance and not 2 nights before.

Holidays were never meant for resting.

CIA Cell Retreat 2007 (18-19 Dec)

FIG Cluster Outing (26-12-07)

Soccer - Team Ah Wu VS Team Rainbow
Lunch
Ice breakers/ Leader's Quiz.
THE HUNT.

Light of the world ;)

merry christmas my friends.
thanks for all the presents, cards, chocs.

its nice to go for parties, christmas dinners etc.

Jesus is throwing a big party when He returns.
Many are invited but few has accepted His invitation.

Nobody knows when our lives will be demanded from us.

but 1 thing we can decide: where we are going to spend eternity.

BIKING SESSIONS.

Friday night with isaac, andrew, ben, denise, charlene and i.

we planned to bike from east coast park to vivo city.

so met A, C & I at A house at about 10pm. borrow bike then headed to east coast macs for supper. then set off at 12am.

summary:
east coast - indoor stadium - esplandae - fullerton hotel - singapore river - marina bay (?) - marina south - shenton way - 2am plus supper @ Lau Pa Market.

clocked in about 30km +++

fullerton hotel at 0115 ;) cant afford to stay inside so stay outside take picture and admire only.

marina bay river (?)..

in the end we didnt bike to vivo due to the limitations of our mental & physical capabilities.

Sunday's Community Svc Day (church)

hahaha. one of the kids playing at our games stall

Dunking machine highlight of the day: Elder dan got 'dunked' for 200 bucks!

Sunday night with isaac, andrew, ben, daryl & i.

our objective were clear and simple: BIKE TILL THE SUN RISES.

so we met up at B house for macs-delivered-supper.

macs had to send us THREE (3) seperate delivery riders. first was the original orders. second because they forgot some orders. third due to unforseen circumstances.

anyway back to the biking trip.

we set off at 2am (east coast). bike to CHANGI VILLAGE to...

******************

eat nasi lemak at 4 AM. haha. shiok..

after our power breakfast, before setting off:

ben taking his power gel/ protein powder/ power water or dunno what lah. haha

6.15am KING OF THE ROAD.

so clocked in about 16km +++
Thank God for fun, food, keeping us safe and strength!!

whoooohooo.

Sometimes advertisements are so strong, people take it literally.

Ericsson (phone) used to have a tag line: Make yourself heard..

"I hear them when I board the bus

I hear them when they board the bus"

Figure it out.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

mid sem tests are over.

quite a number of activities lined up.

class bbq (?), cell retreat, BIKING SESSIONS, christmas musical, christmas!.
